Brody Bruce was last seen in the St. Vital area on March 29, according to a press release from the Winnipeg Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit. His mother, Holly, says he took off from his grandmother’s house on Tuesday morning. “He asked the dog to go for a walk, my mom said yes, but half an hour later he could not understand why the dog was barking like crazy. So he looked outside and the dog was there, still on the leash but my son was gone.” he said. There are security cameras around her mother’s house, which do not indicate that someone entered the yard and took him away, she said. Bruce says her son has ADHD as well as some other behavioral problems and described him as a “chronic runner”, but said they usually find him shortly after takeoff. However, this is the longest time ever missing. He says he met some people playing video games on the Internet and thinks he may have left his grandmother’s house to hang out with them. “I knew when he took off this time, I knew it was different because I was looking. My friends were looking. Everyone who knew him was looking. And he’s not where he should be.” It has been located in various places in the northern part of the city, such as McGregor Street, Salter Street, Selkirk Avenue and Flora Avenue. It has also been located on the Pembina Highway and in St. Vital Center. But so far no one was able to send in the perfect solution, which is not strange. “Since yesterday [Thursday], we heard nothing. “No one has seen them since yesterday.” If he can read it, he said he just wants to go home. “You have no problem,” he said. “He’s a favorite boy of all.” Brody is described as four feet 10 inches tall with a medium body, short brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing black T-shirts, a gray hooded sweatshirt, an oversized blue sweater and black runners. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is kindly requested to contact the Missing Persons of the Winnipeg Police Department at 204-986-6250. The Winnipeg Bear Clan is also investigating Brody in several parts of the city.
