A man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s were both injured in a shooting in the Gander Bay area, killing them, according to the RCMP. On Monday, police said the double shot was fired at a house in Harris Point, about 40 miles north of Gander. The RCMP’s initial statement, sent Monday, said both men were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police were called to the scene shortly after midnight Monday and found the man and woman with gunshot wounds. The RCMP Major Crime Unit and its forensic team are investigating the shooting, and the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office is involved.
