Fresno police say the shooting took place in the Glen and Belmond area on Saturday afternoon. The teenager was shot at least once and is expected to survive. We are working to gather more details about this shoot. This comes after three more shootings in Fresno on Friday night. In the past 12 hours, two people have been killed by gunfire and two others injured, leaving the families of the victims and police searching for answers. The first occurred at a central Fresno apartment complex on Glenn and McKenzie Avenue around 9:30 a.m. Friday. RELATED: https://abc30.com/central-fresno-shooting-apartment/11702417/ Police say a dispute between two families broke out in the shooting, resulting in a 16-year-old being taken to hospital with gunshot wounds. Another minor was treated on the spot after being shot by a bullet. The second shooting also occurred in downtown Fresno just half an hour later on Clinton Avenue and Thesta Street. “Officers responded to the scene and located a victim who suffered one, possibly two gunshot wounds to the upper left side of his chest,” Pierce said. RELATED: Police are investigating a homicide in the center of Fresno Lieutenant Pierce said the victim was a man in his forties. “Officers started providing assistance until the EMS and firefighters arrived at the scene,” he said. Although the police responded within minutes, it was too late. “The victim of the shooting was taken to the CRMC where he was pronounced dead,” he said. And just before 1 a.m. Saturday, another man was shot dead in Nevada and Jackson in central Fresno. He died at the hospital several hours later.
