According to a Toronto police tweet, emergency crews were called to the Lake Shore Boulevard West and Superior Avenue shortly after 5:30 p.m. for information on two-foot hit.

At the time of the tweet, the police reported that there were very serious injuries with some victims without vital signs. According to police, the vehicle that hit the pedestrians was crossing the intersection at high speed. The vehicle also hit a parked truck. The driver was most likely thrown from a vehicle.
