Florida prosecutors are taking issue with the game of model Courtney Clenney, 26, and her legal eagles. Clenney allegedly stabbed his friend Christian Obumseli, 27, to death with a kitchen knife during a heated fight in their luxury Miami high-rise apartment last April. But prosecutors claim it was Clenney’s attorney, Frank Prieto, who has kept the media fires burning. But Obumseli’s family hired a lawyer who encouraged detectives to keep digging and that led to Clenney’s arrest. The couple was known for their volatile relationship. He was previously arrested in Las Vegas for assaulting Obumseli when he threw a glass at his head. Several days after the murder, Clenney – who has more than two million followers on Instagram – was spotted having drinks at a Miami hotel bar with her father, sparking public outrage. The dead man’s brother blasted officers, claiming Clenney had been “treated differently because of her privilege as a rich white woman”.
