The driver of the Tahoe reached speeds of over 100 miles per hour, with a flat tire and headlights off, while passing on the highway.
At one point, the CHP attempted a PIT maneuver that struck Tahoe, though the driver managed to continue to dodge the officers.
The suspect or suspects in Tahoe also threw car parts out the window, as well as a black tool bag. The CHP is said to have recovered at least the tool bag from the highway.
Cloudy skies over San Clemente and the surrounding area forced Sky9 to stop tracking.
Authorities arrested all the suspects in downtown San Diego at about 9:50 p.m.
