In case you missed it somehow, this year’s Oscars were somewhat overshadowed when Will Smith took the stage and hit Chris Rock in the face.

During last month’s ceremony, the actor was offended when Chris made a joke about his bald wife, Jada Pinkett Smith. “Janta, I love you. GI Jane 2“I can’t wait to see it,” the comic had said.

Will was initially seen laughing at the joke, while Janda, who was diagnosed with alopecia in 2018, was left with a stone and rolled her eyes. The next thing the spectators saw was Will invading the stage and hitting Chris.

Chris was visibly surprised after the blow and said to the audience, “Oh, wow. Wow. “Will Smith just wrestled with me.” Returning to his seat, Will shouted, “Keep my wife’s name out of your fucking mouth.”

Chris, who was reportedly unaware of Jada’s diagnosis of alopecia at the time, replied puzzled: “Wow, man, it was a GI Jane “But Will just repeated, ‘Keep my wife’s name out of your fucking mouth.’

The ceremony was co-hosted by Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes, and in the evening Amy joked about what had happened when she returned to the stage.

Just moments after the incident, Amy was mocked: “I left this Spider-Man costume, did I miss anything? There is a different atmosphere here… ”

Despite rejecting it at the time, Amy later said she had been “fired and injured” by the violence in a deleted Instagram post.

“I think we can all agree that the best way to decompress what happened is to take my turn @lifeandbethhulu and see me on tour this fall,” the post began. “But in reality. He is still injured and injured.”

“I love my friend @chrisrock and I think he handled it like a pro. “He stayed up there and gave an Oscar to his friend @questlove and the whole thing was so disturbing,” Amy continued. “So much pain to @willsmith anyway, I’m still in shock, surprised and sad. I’m proud of myself and my hosts. But yes. I’m waiting for this sick feeling to go away from what we all saw.”

But over the weekend, Amy revealed the incident when she presented her first stand-up comedy after the Oscars at the Mirage Theater in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Here, he referred to Will as “Ali”, referring to his 2001 film starring boxer Mohamed Ali, and then revealing the controversial joke that he was banned for doing so at the Oscars.

“I felt a bit like myself and suddenly Ali was coming up,” Amy told the crowd. “And it was just a fucking evil. “All I can say is that he was really sad and I think he says so much about toxic masculinity.”

“It was really upsetting, but I think the best way to comfort ourselves would be to tell Oscar jokes that they would not let me tell on TV,” he added.

“I want to preface these Oscar jokes by saying that my lawyer told me not to say them. “Do not tell anyone and do not be angry with me,” Amy said after sharing the one-liners she wanted to do for Joe Rogan and James Franco.

However, an “unconscious” joke about the fatal shooting of Alec Baldwin Rust Last year was undoubtedly the most shocking and has sparked reactions since it came to light.

Reciting her original Oscar monologue to fans, Amy said:Do not look up is the name of a movie? “More like not looking under the barrel of Alec Baldwin’s shotgun.” He further added: “I was not allowed to say any of these things [at the Oscars]but you can just go up and [slap] someone.”

During an interview with ABC News in December, Alec said he pulled the hammer as far as he could without actually arming it, under Halyna’s instructions. However, when he dropped the hammer, the gun fell.

“I would never point the gun at anyone and I would not trigger it. Never. “Never,” Alek said then. “This was the training I had. “You do not point the gun at anyone and pull the trigger.”

Understandably, people have disagreed with Amy’s discredited joke and the way she’s seemingly comparing Halyna’s tragic death to Will slapping Chris.

On Twitter, someone wrote: “Amy Sumer really looked at the situation involving Will Smith and Chris Rock and thought, ‘How can I not only do this, but find a way to keep telling an incredibly tasteless and silly joke that Does it make me look like a tough monster? ‘

“@amyschumer what the hell? You CAN’T compare such a joke (and let’s be honest, it’s not funny to joke about someone being hit by a gun) with someone slapping someone else on stage,” wrote another.

“Wait, sorry… Amy Sumer wanted to joke about someone’s real death (?!?!?!?!) But talked about how much she was shot and injured by a slap ?! How do you think this hearing makes Halyna Hutchins’s sad family feel? ” A third answered.

And Amy’s previous reaction to the slap was something that many others said when they reacted to Alec’s joke, with one person echoing: did he get injured? He also’s not paying attention, why should he tell us that? ”
