According to the report, the ongoing crisis in Ukraine and rising inflation are the reasons for the decline. Specifically, Nikkei says that Apple will produce 20 percent less iPhone SE headphones (about two to three million) next quarter and more than 10 million fewer AirPods for the rest of 2022. It is worth noting that the famous Apple analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo of TF International Securities, wrote on Twitter that the shipments of iPhone SE in 2022 will be reduced between 15 and 20 million units, from 25 to 30 million. According to Kuo, the demand for the phone is “lower than expected” and he pointed out the ready availability of the phone on the Apple website as “one of the proofs” of it. Apple unveiled the newest iPhone SE model earlier this month – for more on the original smartphone, see our review. Via: Reuters, Nikkei
