Several police cars and officers were present on Wharncliffe Street in Old Swan and gunmen were seen patrolling the street. Police received a report at 12.30 p.m. from a member of the public that he had seen a man carrying what was believed to be a gun on Wharncliffe Street and entering a property on the street.
