Several police cars and officers were present on Wharncliffe Street in Old Swan and gunmen were seen patrolling the street. About six cars were seen along with several police officers, while neighbors were watching. Police received a report at 12.30 p.m. from a member of the public that he had seen a man carrying what was believed to be a gun on Wharncliffe Street and entering a property on the street.
