Witnesses told ECHO that a quarrel broke out outside McCooley’s Bar around 10:30 pm on Saturday, March 25th. A small police cordon was in place and police and paramedics were called. Merseyside police confirmed that they had received reports of an incident Saturday night in what appeared to be a “fight” outside a bar. They added that someone was arrested on suspicion of assault.
