Early Sunday morning, police told Global News they had arrested a man in his 40s in connection with the homicide. Police also located a vehicle linked to the search. Further details about the arrest or how the person may be linked to the crime are expected to be made public once the charges are formally sworn in by the prosecutor.

On Friday night, a man in his 20s was killed outside a restaurant along 16 NW Avenue when unknown suspects “fired multiple bullets” at the vehicle in which the victim was sitting.
