The boy, who is not named for legal reasons, is accused of raiding Claridge’s in Mayfair, the Four Seasons in Park Lane, Corinthia in Whitehall and the Millennium in Knightsbridge. He also allegedly broke into the BBC’s White House television station and allegedly targeted the offices of retailer The White Company and the media agency Publicis within the group. His 13-year-old brother also faces charges of burglary. The couple were due to appear in a youth court in Highbury Corner on Monday, but neither was present. District Judge Hina Rai issued a warrant for the brothers. At a previous hearing, the brothers denied the allegations. The 12-year-old faces 15 charges, 14 charges of burglary and one charge of conspiracy to commit burglary between April 2021 and February 2022. His brother is charged with four counts – three of burglary between September 2021 and February 2022 and one of conspiracy to commit burglary between April 2021 and February 2022.
