The fire started around 5:15 a.m. Wednesday at Levittown Lanes at 8800 New Falls Road. Firefighters rushed to the scene and quickly sounded a second alarm. The fire signaled three alarms around 6:20 p.m. The Chopper 6 was over the stage as part of the roof collapsed. Much of the building has been destroyed. It seems that only the perimeter is left. Authorities say the fire threatens neighboring properties, which appear to be homes. There are closed roads in the area. This prompted the Pansbury School District to issue the following notice: “Please be prepared for transportation delays this morning due to a large fire on New Falls Road near Pennsbury High School. Several surrounding roads are also closed at this time. We are currently changing bus routes as required.” The fire continues to ignite flames and huge clouds of smoke over the Lower Bucks area. No injuries were reported. This is breaking news. Stay tuned to 6abc.com for more information.
