A weekend spring break in a California beach community ended with many arrests and dozens of reports, authorities said Sunday. Deltopia, an unapproved spring break among students at the University of California, Santa Barbara, brought large crowds over the weekend to Isla Vista, a neighborhood in Santa Barbara County. No serious injuries have been reported since the weekend. (Photo by Bob Carey / Los Angeles Times via Getty Images) On Saturday night, Santa Barbara County Fire Department officials said “MCI (Multiple Victims Incident) is associated with multiple medical emergencies, including multiple serious injuries.” Officials said the incidents were linked to crowds brought by the Deltopia party, noting that many balconies in the Isla Vista community were overcrowded with parties.
