The mystery surrounding the downed MU5735 flight has deepened as evidence emerged that the aircraft may have begun to crash into the air. Crash investigators are working to determine what happened to China Eastern Airlines flight that crashed to the ground on Monday, killing all 132 people on board. The service was traveling between Kunming to Guangzhou at the height of a cruise when it suddenly fell on its head at about the time it should have started its descent. He appears to have fallen sharply, falling 29,100 feet in two and a half minutes and before leaving a large crater on the ground. Human remains, objects and debris were found scattered over a large area near where a Boeing 737-800 crashed on a wooded slope in China’s Guangxi region. Zheng Xi, head of the local fire and rescue department, said no common explosives were found among the wreckage. A local government official said more than 2,000 people were looking for signs at a 200,000-square-foot site. Jeff Guzzetti, a former head of accident investigation at the US Federal Aviation Administration, said he was raising further questions about the incident. He told MailOnline: “In my opinion, this is the aircraft that drops parts as it lands. The questions are, what exactly was it and when did it come out? China’s first major air tragedy in more than a decade has sparked a government review of safety procedures and confused aviation accident investigators. The flight data recovered from the black box logger are being analyzed in Beijing, but it may take up to a fortnight to be made public, according to Chinese state media. “At the moment, we can not determine the exact time required to retrieve the data and analyze the black box that has already been recovered,” said Mao Yangfeng, a China Civil Aviation Authority (CAAC) official. The crash has confused plane crash investigators and a second black box refers to the investigation efforts so far (Image: Reuters) A second black box was not found, but the search appears to be closer after an emergency location transmitter was installed near the recorded flight data. The crash investigation is being conducted by China, but the United States was invited to participate because the Boeing 737-800 was designed and built there. According to the FlightRadar24 flight monitoring website, the plane appeared to be coming out of its nose for a while before sinking again. Authorities said the pilots did not respond to repeated calls from air traffic controllers during the rapid descent.
