Negotiations between Dick and Sadiq Khan over her departure are considered to have become “extremely harsh” over the prospect of a silencing clause and the size of her payment. The parties have been trying to reach an agreement for six weeks since Dick resigned when Kahn withdrew his trust following a series of officer scandals involving misogyny, racism and corruption.
