Soldiers said the crash happened around 11:09 p.m. on Hidden Hill Road. According to police, the pedestrian was on the road when he was hit by a vehicle going north. Immediately after the first crash, the pedestrian was hit again by another car moving in the same direction. The second driver then fled and is still unknown to the soldiers. The pedestrian was taken to the hospital for first aid but unfortunately he escaped from his injuries. The Spartanburg County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as 31-year-old Erica Antionette Carree from Spartanburg. The soldiers are looking for the second driver who was involved in the accident.
