COVID-positive hospitalizations dropped by more than five percent last day in BC The provincial government announced on Tuesday 287 new cases of coronavirus, including 61 in the Internal Health area. Throughout BC. 273 people (out of 288) are treated with COVID-19 and 46 in the intensive care unit. There are 65 people hospitalized in the Internal Health district, nine of whom are in intensive care. New cases include:

In the last 24 hours, a new death (Northern Health) was recorded, with a total number of 2,990.

As of Tuesday, 93.4% of eligible individuals 12 years of age and older in BC received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, 91% received the second dose and 57.5% received a third dose. From March 21 to March 27, those who were not fully vaccinated accounted for 16.5% of cases and from March 14 to March 27, 22.3% of hospitalizations.
