Shortly after 12:30 p.m., Toronto police responded to reports of a pedestrian being hit by a pickup truck in the Finch Avenue West and Highway 400 area. Police say a woman has died at the scene. The cause of the collision is unknown. The ramp facing west on Highway 400 and the lanes heading west on Finch West Avenue are closed to Norfinch for research. Anyone with information or video from the camera is kindly requested to contact the police.
