Emergency crews were called to the crash near the south end of Duck Lake around 5:25 p.m., arriving to find a single vehicle down an embankment. Shawn Fisher was traveling north on the highway at the time and captured the crash on his dash cam. A gray truck loses control in heavy rain while water was pooling on the road and collides with the central barrier. The truck bounces off the barrier and falls through the barrier on the other side of the highway. Fisher said the truck plowed straight through the freeway’s outer barrier. “The camera didn’t catch everything, but the truck did roll over the divider like a barrel. He was airborne,” Fisher said. One lane of the highway was closed while emergency crews dealt with the crash. The extent of the injuries is not known at this time. Traffic delays in the area are now minimal.
