Bethany Haines said a mysterious man called her and gave her the map coordinates. Now she plans to fly to the Middle East to find her dad. It has been eight years since her father, who was born in Holders, was paraded by Isis in one of their propaganda videos and then beheaded. He told the Mirror: “I have set a goal to bring him home for a proper burial. “I will not rest until that happens.” Read more: The daughter of the murdered aid worker at Holderness begs the Isis terrorist to reveal where he is buried The 24-year-old is also planning a memorial to David and others executed by Isis. She was a student when the video of her father’s murder shocked people in 2014. She has since visited Syria to search for his remains and now plans to return, believing that the good man “obviously wanted to help me”. Bethany, the mother of a child from Perthshire, Scotland, was speaking from America, attending the trial of El Shafee Elsheikh, 33, who was one of four Londoners in Isis named “The Beatles” after being held hostage by British backgrounds. Leader Mohamed Emuazi, known as Jihadi John, was filmed killing David in a propaganda video. The following year, the monster came out in a drone strike. Elsheikh is said to have been the main torturer and last week Bethany looked him in the eye while he was on trial in Virginia. He is the latest in a string of gang members to deny eight charges related to the arrest, detention and death of six U.S. and Japanese aid workers and journalists, as well as David and Alan Henning. On Wednesday, a court heard how Elsheikh seemed to enjoy and receive “satisfaction” from the “horrible” torture of hostages. Prosecutors said he served as a hostage for the foreign hostages and acted as an intermediary with their families as the cell sought redemption. The defense tried to claim that Elsheikh was a “mere fighter of the Islamic State” and that it was a false identity. He said: “If it were up to me, these men would be sentenced to death, but because of the extradition agreement, that can not happen. They have shown me the highest security prison they are likely to be taken to. “I am happy that they will have a horrible time.” Bethany says she rallied her father in recent months talking to other hostages, Syrian police and government officials. And he will face another Beatles – Alexanda Kotey, 38 – as part of the circumstances of his guilty plea. He said: “I will not be afraid. I will put my theory about where his dad is and then I can start arranging an excavation. I’m afraid my father’s body burned. The remains of other hostages were burned as the ground was too hard to dig a grave. But there will still be some of it that I can bring home so that my son and I can say goodbye to it properly. “ Read more related articles Read more related articles
