Analyst says Public Service Board should adjust prices to reflect reality. Natural gas has been falling across North America of late, but a shutdown move by the board on Tuesday left the price untouched. Diesel, however, jumped 8 cents a litre. Dan McTeague, President of Canadians for Affordable Energy, expects diesel to continue its upward trend on strong demand, but says gasoline should drop four or five cents tonight. He says that in Toronto natural gas cost $158.9, down almost a penny in the last week or so. The story in Vancouver and the rest of western Canada is the same, so it’s something PUB shouldn’t stop from happening in NL, says McTeague.
