Officer Dan Rocha, 41, has lived in Everett for over a decade and has served as an Everett Officer since 2017. A fight broke out and Rocha was shot and killed. O’Keefe said the man fled in a car, passing over Rocha’s body. Everett police chased the man, where he eventually fell on a truck at 35th Street and Racker. The man was arrested without incident. O’Keefe said there were no other injuries. The man was taken to a local hospital and is expected to be released and charged. According to Everett’s traffic cameras, a mini cooper was involved in the incident.
