Forensic detectives discovered a body at an address on Moore Street, Kingsley, last weekend after a four-day excavation. The results of the autopsy now confirmed the identity of 42-year-old Nicholas Billingham, who died as a result of a knife wound to the neck.

Police have officially identified the body found in a garden in Northampton as 42-year-old Nicholas Billingham. Photo: Northamptonshire Police Northampton Elementary School teacher Fiona Bill, 48, was remanded in custody at Northampton Crown Court this week after being charged with the murder of Billingham between October 30 and November 10 last year. The next one will appear in court on April 19. Special search teams were deployed to the property on Moore Street and found a body in the backyard on Saturday (March 18th). The remains were taken to Leicester Royal Hospital, where a Home Office physician conducted the post-mortem examination. The police investigation is ongoing and anyone who knows any information about the case is requested to call 101 stating the incident number 26 of March 16, 2022.
