The incident began Monday night with a roadblock where vehicles blocked an intersection on the south side of Los Angeles. Some drivers managed to cut donuts on the blocked road, leaving skid marks on the pavement. The mob then rushed into a nearby 7-11 store and ransacked it, stealing lottery tickets and anything of value. Before the police could respond, the road was blocked and the looters fled.
