A statement from Staffordshire Police today confirmed that there was a collision with a gray Volkswagen Touran and a pedestrian. Waterside Drive was removed from emergency services after the collision. A Staffordshire police spokesman said: “A five-year-old girl died after a collision in Stoke-on-Trent. between a vehicle and a pedestrian. “The police were present and the five-year-old girl was found to have a heart attack after colliding with a gray Volkswagen Touran. Unfortunately, the rescuers found out about his death a little later. “Her closest relatives have been informed and supported by specially trained officers at this difficult time. A 63-year-old man from the Stoke-on-Trent area has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
