“2) The National Institute of Forensic Medicine continues to conduct the necessary medical studies to determine the cause of death.
“3) AGO will continue to investigate and will duly update the findings of the forensic examinations in due course.

Hawkins, a father of three, suffered a heroin overdose in London in 2001 that left him in a coma for about a week.
In an interview last year, he admitted: “Everyone has their own way and I went a long way. I was having a party in London one night, and I accidentally did something and it changed everything.
“I believed in his bullshit to live hard and fast, to die young.
“I am not here to declare that I do not take drugs, because I liked to take drugs, but I got out of control for a while and it almost took me.”
An unconfirmed local report said several glasses were found inside the drummer’s room, sparking speculation that he was entertaining guests before his death.

Hawkins joined the band in 1997 after the band completed their second album, The Color and the Shape.
