Manchester police said the girl went to the hospital after the attack, but fortunately was not seriously injured. The force said it was “understandably shaken” and that it was supported by her family.
They described the attack as an “isolated incident”, but believe there were several witnesses who saw what happened. Now they are called to come forward.

The girl was attacked by a group described by police as “female and male” as she was taking her dog near the Medlock recreation center, outside Gardenfold Way, in Droylsden, Tameside, at about 8pm last night. Saturday, March 26. Police said three girls – aged 13, 15 and 15 – and a 16-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of assault. They are currently being questioned by police, the force added in a statement on Wednesday.
