Police say they have an idea of who was responsible for the death of an elderly woman in St. Louis. John’s last week. However, they do not name the person and it is not clear if the suspect is in custody or still at large. They say they are suspicious and the victim knew each other. The 82-year-old woman was pronounced dead by rescuers after being summoned to Mitchell Court in St. John shortly before 11pm on March 16th. Police described the death as suspicious at the time, but now say, after consultation with the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office, that it was a homicide. They have not revealed the cause of death.
