Grigoris Baal A man from Kamloops won $ 100,000 in a scratch ticket given to him by a colleague. Gregory Baal gave as a gift a mug full of chocolate and a scratched ticket from his colleague. He was at work when he learned he had won. “I was working the night shift when my colleague gave everyone a mug full of chocolate and a lottery ticket,” Vaal said. “I decided to scratch it at 3 in the morning with my colleague and he told me that I won and so I scanned it in the lotto application.” Baal said he wanted to share some of his prize with some charities and put some of the cash into his children’s education fund. “I have donated to various charities and helped in many crises around the world,” he said. “I feel that this is a gift that returns to us. It’s quite remarkable. “ BCLC said Vaal’s ticket was purchased at the Real Canadian Superstore on Columbia Street West.
