The Giants are breathing a collective sigh of relief as Kayvon Thibodeaux appears to have avoided a serious injury. Thibodeau walked off the field unaided and unrelieved Sunday night and said he was “fine,” via video from ESPN’s Jordan Raanan. “I’m good. I’ll be back. All good news,” Thibodeaux said, via Paul Schwartz of the New York Post. However, coach Brian Daboll said Thibodeaux will undergo more medical tests on Monday. Thibodeau injured his right knee with 11:16 left in the half on a cut block by Bengals tight end Thaddeus Moss. The basket came out to take him to the practice room, but the fifth overall pick waved it away and limped off the court and into the blue medical tent before heading to the practice room. He finished with a tackle.
