Yesterday (March 27), police released an update on the case and Avon and Somerset police have now issued a statement confirming that a woman has been charged with murder. Abigail White, from Chipperfield Drive, Kingswood, was taken into custody to appear in Bristol Magistrates’ Court today (March 28). Police also named the victim of the murder for the first time today as 22-year-old Bradley Lewis. A statement from the force said: “A 23-year-old woman has been charged with murder after a man died at the hospital after an incident at a home in Kingswood, south Gloucestershire, on Friday night. His family has been informed of this development in our investigation.” Read more related articles Read more related articles Police were called by ambulance to a home on Chipperfield Drive around 8:20 p.m. Friday (March 25). The seriously injured man was taken to the hospital but died in the early hours of yesterday (Saturday) and the woman was arrested. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of the man’s death. Police had previously stated that the man’s closest relatives had been informed and supported by specially trained liaison officers.
