Mr Hill said previously Kyra did not play with inflatables and swam in the nine by 12 meter pool designated for it. Leonard Hill, Kyra’s father, accused Liquid Leisure of negligence (Sky News) “I would say they let her drown because there’s no way she could have fallen in the same water and it took you over 30 minutes to contact the emergency services,” he said. “She had a chance, but the lack of urgency, the lack of interest, the lack of action is why my daughter is no longer here today.” “He has not been protected, he has not been guarded, he has not been taken care of.” He claims that Liquid Leisure had not contacted his family following the incident, despite repeated attempts by him and her mother Kyra to contact them. Liquid Leisure, near Windsor, Berkshire (PA) Mr Hill said Kyra’s younger brother “asks about his sister every day”, while her sister is “devastated” to have lost her “best friend”. As a result, we are limited in what we can say about the incident itself at this stage. “We can confirm that the incident took place in our designated swimming area of our lake, which is always staffed by a fully trained Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) lifeguard. “Liquid Leisure Windsor has been operating for over 20 years and has welcomed hundreds of thousands of visitors during that time. Nothing is more important to us than the safety of our guests. “We want to reiterate our deepest condolences to the family and all those affected by this tragedy and will provide further updates when we can.”
