O’Connor, another Canadian pivot, has played well in the few moments he has seen the court this season. The 2015 Vanier Cup MVP as a member of the UBC Thunderbirds, O’Connor is in his third season in the CFL and his first with the Lions. He has completed 9-12 passes this year for 63 yards with zero touchdowns and one interception. O’Connor closed out the Lions’ win at Saskatchewan on Friday, hauling in all five of his passes for 36 yards.
