Emergency services were on the scene, with Sussex police leading the response. The National Road has asked people to give extra time for travel and find alternative routes where possible. There was a detour to the M25 via the A264 Eastbound to Felbridge and the A22 Northbound to return to Junction 6, Godstone, Surrey. All lanes are now open again and the incident is clear.
