The Sting were traveling north of Saginaw after a game against Spirit last night and planned to complete the journey this morning before starting at 2:07 p.m. The game was initially postponed to 16:07, before the decision was made to officially postpone the match. Original story The current closure of the Mackinac Bridge for traffic due to falling ice means a delay in the start of Sunday’s Ontario Hockey League match between Soo Greyhounds and Sarnia Sting. The Sting, who played Saturday night in Saginaw, are currently on the south side of the bridge awaiting the opportunity to complete the journey north to Sault. There is no indication as to when the bridge may reopen to traffic. The game, originally scheduled for 2:07 p.m., has been postponed to 4:07 p.m. More details will be added as new developments emerge.
