The car accident happened around 8pm near Highway 7 and Pine Valley Drive
Police say the driver was taken to a local hospital but was later pronounced dead.
Police have not yet released the name of the deceased.
The York Regional Police Department’s major collision unit is now examining the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident.
