Andrew N. Wilhoite, 39, was arrested following a domestic dispute that left Elizabeth “Nikki” Wilhoite, 41, dead, according to Indiana State Police. He allegedly “hit her in the head with a blunt object, causing her to lose consciousness,” police said. She was then placed in a vehicle and her body dumped in a creek. A missing person report was submitted the day before Nikki Wilhoite’s body was discovered. Police said he had not gone to work. They went to her home in Lebanon, north of Indianapolis, for a welfare check. When he was not there, they did a search involving K-9 units for hours.
