A man was attacked in an apparently accidental attack on Sunday. A man has been arrested and is facing charges following an alleged attack on a restaurant in West Kelowna on Sunday. The RCMP responded to a report of an attack that afternoon on Block 2300 of Highway 97 at Tim Hortons / Wendy’s in West Kelowna. Police learned that the suspect allegedly committed an unprovoked attack on a restaurant patron and caused damage to part of the patron’s property. Police launched an investigation that included interviews with several witnesses and video surveillance. West Kelowna RCMP patrol members identified the suspect and arrested him on Friday. “The RCMP is pleased to see a person identified as a suspect through the strong efforts of the research team in collaboration with members of the public for this seemingly unprovoked attack,” the general said.
