Emergency services were called to Great Homer Street, at its junction with Anderson Street, shortly after 10:55 a.m. today (Sunday, April 3). Police arrived at the scene after reports that the rider of the e-scooter had been injured in the head. The rider, a 20-year-old man, was taken to hospital for injuries. A section of the road was closed while emergency services dealt with the collision and the road remains closed while investigations continue. A Merseyside police spokesman said: “We are appealing for information following a report of a collision with a bus and an electronic scooter today (Sunday, April 3). “Police were called shortly after 10:55 a.m. on Great Homer Street, at its intersection with Anderson Street, where it was reported that the rider of the scooter had been injured in the head.
