It happened around 8pm on Friday in Beverley Street and Dundas Street West, east of Spadina Avenue.
Police said police located a man, believed to be about 40 years old, with a knife wound.
He was rushed to the injury center in a life-threatening condition.
No suspicious information was immediately available.
