ATLANTA – Police are investigating the death of a man who was hit by a MARTA train on Tuesday morning in downtown Atlanta. Officials say that around 7:40 a.m., the man fell from the south street platform at 10th Street Station in Midtown. Investigators have not identified the victim. Crews are now working to collect the body of the victim, which is stuck under the train. The incident caused the Midtown station to shut down. MARTA officials say the northbound service has been terminated at the Civic Center and the southbound service is terminated at the Lindbergh Center. There is a shuttle service for all customers from Civic Center to Lindbergh Center Rail Station.
