An RCMP spokesman said Tuesday that the autopsy was completed by March 30th. The identity of the person and the cause of death have not yet been confirmed, as the RCMP is awaiting the results of the autopsy. However, the RCMP has confirmed that it is involved in obscene gambling and is investigating death as homicide. The RCMP previously said the remains were found on March 30. Investigators were seen combing an area on 79 North Road. “The remains were placed at this location sometime during the winter months and were discovered when a dog living nearby began bringing bones home,” RCMP told CTV News in an email on Tuesday. The RCMP Major Crime Unit is continuing its investigation.
