Cord Lagasse was reported missing Saturday, RCMP said in a news release. The teenager was last seen at a residence on 10th Street in Rosthern, about 65 kilometers northeast of Saskatoon, at about 4 p.m. on August 18. He is described as five feet, 10 inches tall and approximately 150 pounds, with brown eyes and medium length blond hair. In a news release Sunday, police say they believe Lagasse may be attempting to travel to Medicine Hat, Alta., and may have been seen hitchhiking on the 11 Freeway on Saturday. RCMP said it is not known what he was wearing when he was last seen, but he is believed to be carrying a green military-style backpack.
