According to information, two people were on the small plane. A search for the wreckage was launched today.

A French emergency services spokesman said: “It crashed in British waters for unknown reasons. The British Coast Guard has launched an operation in support of French aircraft and vessels, including the Abeille-Languedoc (Languedoc Bee) tug chartered by the French Navy.
