The driver is being held on a charge of kidnapping after allegedly approaching Irion’s car in a Fernley Walmart car park around 5:00 p.m. on March 12, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office. Surveillance shots show the driver waiting near Irion’s 1992 Mercury Sable before getting in and out. Officials found Irion’s car unattended in an industrial park near Walmart on March 15. Police said the Driver’s truck was confiscated and testified. Irion’s whereabouts are still unknown until Driver is arrested. Phone records show that she was active on social media and received a Snapchat a few minutes before her disappearance. Irion’s mom told WAGM 8 that she was waiting for a bus for her job at Panasonic, which usually arrives between 5:30 p.m. and 5:40 a.m. “This is still a very active investigation,” Lyon County Sheriff Frank Hunwell said on March 25. “More information will be made public as soon as it becomes available.
