This included the reveal of the new Pokémon Cyclizar. It’s a Dragon/Normal type and comes with the Shed Tail move – where it can create a substitute and then trade places with a waiting Pokémon party. The same trailer also showed off some new items like the Mirror Herb and Loaded Dice, as well as another new move: Tera Blast. See them all in action in the trailer above. During the launch event, The Pokémon Company president Tsunekazu Ishihara teased a few “about Scarlet and Violet, as well as the future of the Trading Card Game. Here’s exactly what he had to say (via IGN): “We also have news about Pokémon Scarlet and Violet and the future of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. but I’d like to share those updates with you during our closing ceremony, so I’m asking you to wait a little longer.” Whether or not these two new items will be linked is unclear at this stage. Probably best not to get too excited. The latest Scarlet and Violet trailer released earlier this month revealed the new games area and introduced the new mechanic known as “Terestal Phenomenon”.
