No Doubt bassist Tony Kanal has filed a motion for a restraining order against a guy named George Leonardopoulos … whom Kanal says has been terrorizing his family in recent months with unannounced and unwanted visits. According to documents obtained by TMZ, Kanal claims that Leonardopoulos has been moving from his pillow in the Los Angeles area repeatedly since the end of January – he even jumped a gate on the property once. In such an alleged tradition just last week … Kanal claims that Leonardopoulos came to their front door and knocked on the door, telling Kanal’s wife that he used to live there with the previous owner of the property – and this person is Heath. Kanal says he bought the house from HL in 2005 (before the actor’s death) and Leonardopoulos apparently lived in the house in the past and said strangely to Kanals that he believes Heath is still on the premises … and alive. Even more creepy … Leonardopoulos reportedly said it was very important to let him into their garage so he could “wake up” Heath – telling them “if you know what’s good for you, you’ll let me in” ». At least that is what Kanal claims here in its TRO papers. In addition to the alleged threats, Kanal says that they have seen Leonardopoulos holding a large stick and a knife and that they have called the police against him in the past. Now, they are asking for legal aid in the form of a restrictive decree … and they got it. A judge signed on Friday and is in force until a hearing later this month. Leonardopoulos must stay 100 meters away from the Kanal family and their premises until he is eliminated. BTW … today marks the 43rd birthday of Heath. Strange story, no doubt.
