Speaking to reporters at the White House, Bedingfield said US President Joe Biden was clear that “the constitutional protections of executive powers should not be used to protect Congress or the public from attacking the Constitution itself.”
Jared Kouchner will testify by teleconference Thursday in the House of Representatives committee investigating the deadly attack on the US Capitol, the committee’s Democratic chairman, Benny Thompson, told reporters at the Capitol.
Thompson said he also expected the panel to speak with Ivanka Trump, though he could not say when that would happen.
