Hollywood A-list stars went to the red carpet for the 94th Annual Oscars to show us the best looks money can buy – and maybe some that should have stayed on the shelf. This year, pink, pastel and florals dominated the carpet. Oscar attendees seem to reject the devastation and grief of two years of the pandemic (not to mention the worsening climate change and international conflicts) coming out in the spring with colorful, rosy appearances. Other natural colors like emerald green and sky blue also took their toll.

Decomposed clothes and cuts were introduced to a large extent, reflecting the high fashion trends that redefine the way clothes interact with our body. Instead of revealing the neckline or high slits, these modern cuts block the waist, chest and back.
